Brown and white, or Brown and hot pink for wedding colours?
Posted on May 30th, 2010 by admin
I am having my wedding in June 2010 and I am not sure if I want chocolate brown and hot pink, or chocolate brown and white? What do you think is nicer? And do you have any pictures or either? Thanks so much!
Here is a website that might help you pick, it shows lots of inspirational images for incorporating pink into a wedding. "Think Pink" (lots of different pinks with other colours) and "Pink & Black."
There are other themes to and take a look at the photo gallery for more images of dresses, accessories, suits and more. The wedding check list will help you with your planning to.

I like brown and pink but it might be difficult to match the color throughout the day

Personally I would choose to use the Brown and Hot Pink.
Search Google images for Brown and Hot Pink Wedding. You get loads of things showing how it would look and it’s not too bad.

Here is an Idea. Why don’t you use all three. Use the Chocolate Brown as a "base" color. The pink would be your "pop" color, You know, the color that sets the real tone of the affair. Every color scheme needs a toner color that keeps the "pop" color from getting out of control. And, if you’re not careful it will. Not everything needs your main colors. So use very neutral colors such as white, ivory, creme, silver or even gold to use as a "filler"color.
Its all up to you and I am sure your wedding will be beautiful.

Skip the brown and do hot pink and white. I was in a brown and champagne wedding last summer and we got a LOT of flack from people. The BMs wore brown dresses and were referred to as the "Turd Brigade" and people sang the Tootsie Roll song all the time. It was not flattering, it was embarassing. Just keep that in mind when dressing your girls.
Good luck!

I’m doing chocolate brown and pink. I’m finding it easy for the color scheme. I think if you wanted to go with the brown and white it should be an off white like cream or ivory. Good luck with all your plans!
