Is this my first period?
ok well i have all the symptoms: hair, acne, weight, ect.

last month i had two days with a load of brown,red,yellow discharge and two weeks later i had a little streak of red-orange now three weeks after that i have mor but now its red brown. it seems like my first period but i dont know. my family has always started out w/ regular periods in the starting days, but i dont know. anyway an you tell me what this is, and please tell me when this will happen again.

I’m pretty sure this is your first period.
If you know what a period is, and the steps that go with it, then you’re all set. (It should happen every month for a few days.) Talk with a family member (a woman) about this, they would know if they were older.

I have been spotting a brown discharge for 3 days now and i am supposed to start my period today. I am not experiencing any pain or itching and i have been on birth control for 6 months now. What could this mean? Please help!

The brown bloody discharge is normal, its just old blood. Don’t worry.

At 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, officers were called to 4005 St. John to investigate a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered a male lying in the street with a gunshot wound and no signs of life. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man fatally shot by officers the morning of March 26 at 31st and Charlotte streets has been identified as 19-year-old Fritz M. Leandre of Kansas City. He was shot after crashing his vehicle and pointing a gun at the officers when they approached his car.

An officer was on patrol in the area of 99th and Blue Ridge when she heard several shots fired. Around that same time, police received several calls of shots being fired in the area of 101st and Freemont. Those callers also indicated a male was lying on the sidewalk. When officers arrived, they located the man, identified as Bynum, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Bynum was transported to an area hospital, where he died from his wounds.

My last period was on July 24th and I am now around one week late (not days, but weeks) and I have had some nausea and mood swings. Today I had a little bit of pink when I wiped and then this evening there was a little brown discharge. Is this a sign of pregnancy? I took a test but it could be too early. Thanks!

Yes you could be pregnant. Take another home pregnancy test or go to the doctor. Good Luck!

I am fourteen years old and I haven’t started my period nor have I ever been sexually active. The last couple of times I’ve wiped I’ve found brown discharge on the tissue, and it is not heavy, and it is very little, but my discharge is usually white, or off white. Is this just a sign that I am about to start my period soon, or otherwise?

Brown discharge is usually a sign of old blood. Some women experience this before starting their period and we call it "spotting". It is very common. You will probably start bleeding normally in a day or so. Be prepared by carrying a few pads with you. If you experience any pain or fowl smelling odor, consult your doctor.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and was checked to see if i was dialated. The next day I had a brown discharge and today it is a clear mucus discharge, only when i pee and not a signifigant amount. The doc at the hospital said all this is normal, but the clear mucus discharge just happened and I don’t know what to think. It’s been two days since I got the pelvic exam. Any oppinions would be great as this is my first baby and I don’t know what to expect!

I’ve unprotected sex with my husband and I am not on any birth control. My period is 1 week and 2 days late. I started to have brown discharge yesterday and has no smell, irritation, discomfort, etc…I also have light cramps…what could this mean?

sometimes the brown discharge IS your period. I’ve had this problem before and its always when my period is late. I got this when I was younger so I asked my family what it meant and they told me that sometimes when a period is late it will come later as a brown discharge because it is blood that has gotten old due to being late.
