My hair is a medium shade of brown and I’m thinking of doing purple highlights. I really don’t want to bleach my hair because that alone is damaging enough. I’d much rather apply the purple highlights to my unbleached hair instead.

Would purple highlights look good? I’m thinking of going to Manic Panic’s Ultra Violet hair dye. TIA!

Yes it would look great! I have brown hair and purple highlights myself! But you have to bleach your hair to get it to show up. The thing about purple and pinks and blues, etc, is that they are stains. So they need a lighter color to grasp onto. So you have to bleach your hair or they will barely show. And manic panic does not work. I tried it. Only stayed in for a week. Go to a hair stylist and have them do it for you. It stays in longer and looks better. And it’s not that expensive.

I believe if Chris Brown was white and/or woman his endorsements would not have been taking away and he would still be on the air.

They have been famous cases of white entertainers that beat on their wives and still make a huge living.

Also if he was a woman, I don ‘t think he would have been hit as hard because our society seems to discriminate against men who are domestic violence victims. For example we accept seeing slapping scenes of women by men but not vice versa and whenever a woman commits any crime we are prone to find provocation.

What does being white have anything to do with domestic abuse against women? and man or not assault is still illegal.

Waste of 5 points. Use your head.

Is there something I can add to get rid of the brown color? Right now I take them somewhere and wash them but it is a pain. We have a water softener but it isn’t working right now.

There is a product on the market called Iron Out. You just add it to your wash tp prevent the brown color it is safe for all colors. Good Luck.

I’m on the pill and this has never really happened before. I’m a little worried, it doesn’t have an odor different to that of my normal discharge, but it is brown. Help please.
I have five days left to go before my next period, with four pills still in the birth control package.

Are you expecting or just getting over your period?
Brown discharge can be left over blood after a period, or spotting before your period. I wouldn’t worry about it.
